Program Summary: Helping Children Worldwide focuses on maternal and child health, alongside care for destitute patients, employing an “upstream” approach to create lasting change. We strengthen health systems through our support of Mercy Hospital in Bo, Sierra Leone, providing both funding and technical expertise. Additionally, we actively engage in health system strengthening by collaborating with Together for Global Health members to train midwives in emergency obstetric and neonatal procedures.
